Caroline Westerik-Sikking

Sustainable Palm Oil Manager, AAK Netherlands B.V.

Caroline Westerik-Sikking is a driven sustainability leader with a strong belief that sustainability should be part of a company’s purpose to really embrace it in business.
She graduated at the Erasmus University Rotterdam in Business Administration and has always operated in international business to business environments. She joined AAK in September 2017 to lead AAK’s global sustainable palm strategy.
In this function she also joined the RSPO board of governors, as the alternate for Tim Stephenson.
She also worked for Cargill, Unilever, Sara Lee and Philips.
Caroline has been working on responsible raw material supply chains and sustainability in different businesses since 2011. Before that she has an extensive experience in business to business marketing and sales.
