Invitation to comment on RSPO Certification assessment of PT. RIGUNAS AGRI UTAMA, Riau, Indonesia.
PT. Rigunas Agri Utama has applied to the certification body SAI Global Indonesia to perform certification assessment of RSPO sustainable palm oil production based on RSPO Principles and Criteria and National Interpretation of Indonesia (INA-NI) and Supply Chain Certification Standard (SCCS) requirements. Certification will be performed on Peranap Mill and 1 oil palm plantations as its supply base.
The certification assessment will be carried out on 23th –24th January 2014, Mill and plantations to be certified are as follows:

In accordance with the requirement of the RSPO Certification Systems and as preparation for certification, we invite stakeholders to give written comment relating to this assessment process. Topics that are usually covered in the public consultation process are the following:
Land ownership status
Environmental protection
Conservation of natural resources and biodiversity
Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Responsible consideration of employees and of individuals and communities affected by growers and mills
Participation in decision making
Commitment to continual improvement
