Invitation to comment on RSPO Certification assessment of PT. SUPRA MATRA ABADI, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia.

Dear Stakeholders,

PT. Supra Matra Abadi has applied to the certification body SAI Global Indonesia to perform certification assessment of RSPO sustainable palm oil production based on RSPO Principles and Criteria and National Interpretation of Indonesia (INA-NI) and Supply Chain Certification Standard (SCCS) requirements. Certification will be performed on Aek Nabara, Teluk Panjie, Tanah Datar Mill and 4 oil palm plantations as its supply base.

The certification assessment will be carried out on 10rd – 13th February and 17th - 18th February 2014. Mill and plantations to be certified are as follows:

 Responsible consideration of employees and of individuals and communities affected by growers and mills

 Commitment to continual improvement
