New reduced fees for physical transactions and RSPO Credits

We are pleased to announce that as of 1st of January 2017, the volume-based fees for physical transactions (related to the shipping announcements for Mass Balance, Segregated, and Identity Preserved) in RSPO PalmTrace* will be reduced. Fees will continue to be invoiced to the first buyer from the mill, upon confirming a Shipping Announcement.

The new reduced fees as of 1st of January 2017 will be:

CSPO (Certified Sustainable Palm Oil) USD 1.45 / MT (currently USD 1.75)
CSPK (Certified Sustainable Palm Kernels) USD 0.65 / MT (currently USD 0.79)

As of 1st of January 2017 the Book and Claim supply chain model will also be integrated in RSPO PalmTrace, where users will be able to trade RSPO Credits (currently GreenPalm). One RSPO Credit will correspond to 1 MT of oil palm product, and the fee will be invoiced to the credit buyer.

Please find below the fees for the different types of RSPO Credits:

RSPO Credits sold by mills:

CSPO USD 1.45 / RSPO Credit (currently USD 2.00)

RSPO Credits sold by crushers:

CSPKE (Certified Sustainable Palm Kernel Expeller) USD 1.45 / RSPO Credit (currently USD 2.00)
