The RSPO Secretariat is pleased to announce that the RSPO Board of Governors (BoG) in its meeting on 14th June 2017 has endorsed the following revised document:
1. RSPO Certification Systems Document, June 2017
This document is effective as of 1st July 2017 and all members and Certification Bodies are given a transition period of twelve months from 1st July 2017 to be in compliance with the revised document.
There is an exception for Clause 4.10 and 4.11 of the document which will come into full force in two months, on 1st September 2017. We advise members and Certification Bodies to familiarize yourself with the revised requirements.
Existing and new members can choose to use the previous version or the revised 2017 version in their upcoming audits. Beginning 1st July 2018, the revised documents are mandatory and the previous version will be deemed obsolete.
