Dear Member,
We would like to inform you that certain suspicious activities were detected in an internal database of the MyRSPO Members Portal.
Please be assured that the RSPO Secretariat takes data protection very seriously and has engaged its internal security and data teams to assist in the urgent investigation and resolution of the issue.
As a precautionary measure, access to MyRSPO and ACOP 2020 submissions have been temporarily disabled until a full investigation has been completed and full confidence in the integrity of our data systems has been restored. The identified data issue is localised to a specific part of the MyRSPO module pertaining to new applications that is affecting a handful of records; all other aspects of the RSPO Secretariat’s databases appear to be secure and unaffected.
The security of your data is our highest priority. The RSPO’s internal policies use the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 as a guide for our internal policies and to manage our approach to data protection. Access to the MyRSPO Members Portal and ACOP 2020 submissions will only be restored once we have made the necessary corrections and we are absolutely sure that we have eliminated any threat of possible security breaches.
As ACOP 2020 reporting is ongoing with a current submission deadline of 7 May 2021, the deadline will be extended and announced once the security investigation has been completed.
As soon as possible, we will advise on the updated timeline for the ACOP and when full access to MyRSPO may resume. We apologise for this disruption and we regret any inconvenience caused by this issue.
If you require further assistance, or have any additional questions or concerns, please reach out to our Membership team at [email protected]
