The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) invites you to a workshop in Barcelona on September 19, 2017 from 9.30am to 4pm. Many consumer goods manufacturers have ambitious sustainable sourcing policies but implementation may be challenging. During this workshop we will give guidance to companies on sustainable sourcing of palm (kernel) oil products.
We will kick off the day with an introduction to the RSPO. The newly founded Spanish Foundation on Sustainable Palm Oil (Fundación Española del Aceite de Palma Sostenible) will present their setup and mission. We will have clear explanations of the Supply Chain Certification Standard from Control Union and work on understanding the supply chain in break out groups.
After lunch, you will have direct access to experts and have the opportunity ask questions about RSPO PalmTrace, (group) certification, health and nutrition of palm oil, use of certified sustainable derivatives in the Home and Personal care industry, supply chain certification, and all other RSPO related matters.

A brief introduction to the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), Principles & Criteria (P&C), and Supply Chain Certifications, RSPO Credits, expert session (one-to-one), Q&A sessions etc.
