Do you want to know from which mills your oil palm products come from? What was possible for the Identity Preserved supply chain model is now possible for the Segregated and Mass Balance supply chain models. This new development became effective during the 4th European Roundtable Conference in Milan.
To provide more transparency in the supply chains, and as implementation of Resolution 6f of the 11th General Assembly, the RSPO now offers traceability back to mills for all physical supply chain models in RSPO eTrace.
Information on the certified mills will be automatically passed onwards with every trade reported in RSPO eTrace. Supply chain actors who report their trades in eTrace will be able to manage the list of mills which contributed to their stock. Manufacturer and Retailers can now ask their suppliers for the origin information of their RSPO certified oil palm products outside of RSPO eTrace
RSPO eTrace now will also offer the option to declare conventional sources in its efforts to provide full transparency. A global oil mill list with approximately 1150 mills is now available in eTrace and supply chain actors can declare the mills, from this list, that are part of their conventional supply base. These new functionalities allow RSPO eTrace users and their buyers to get an overview of their supply base – certified and conventional, all in one place.
