Revised RSPO Supply Chain Certification documents, JUNE 2017

The RSPO Secretariat is pleased to announce that the RSPO Board of Governors (BoG) in its meeting on 14th June 2017 has endorsed the following revised documents:

1.     RSPO Supply Chain Certification Standard (Revised June 2017)

2.     RSPO Supply Chain Certification Systems (Revised June 2017)

Both revised documents will enter into force as of 1st July 2017 and all members as well as certification bodies are given a transition period of six months from 1st July 2017 to be in compliance with the revised documents.

There is an exception for Annex 1 of the RSPO Supply Chain Certification Systems (Revised 2017) document which will come into full force in two months, on 1st  September 2017.  We advise our members to familiarize yourself with the revised document and comply with the requirements stipulated in Annex 1.

Existing and new members can choose to use the previous 2014 version or the revised 2017 version in their upcoming audits. Beginning 1st January 2018, the revised documents are mandatory and the previous 2014 version will be deemed obsolete.
