RSPO Smallholder Trainer Academy

To reach larger numbers and increase the support for smallholder farmers globally, the RSPO Smallholder Trainer Academy (STA) was launched in November 2019. STA adopts a unique ‘train-the-trainer’ approach by providing access to high quality training materials, and aims to build a pool of Master Trainers across sectors and organisations that form a global community to promote sustainable oil palm practices, through smallholder training. The academy has been developed with a focus on improving smallholders’ livelihoods and sustainable farming practices.
