- MPOA is retiring and available for re-election. There will be no election and MPOA will serve another term until the 10th general assembly as no other nominations have been received.
- GAPKI has resigned from being a member of the RSPO. Edi Suhardi representing a caucus of RSPO Indonesian growers is the only candidate to take up the seat. Therefore no election will take place.

Palm Oil Processors and Traders
- IOI Group is retiring and available for re-election. There will be no election and IOI Group will serve another term until the 10th General Assembly as no other nominations have been received.

Consumer goods manufacturers
- Unilever is retiring and available for re-election. There will be no election and Unilever will serve another term until the 10th general assembly as no other nominations have been received.

- Carrefour is retiring and available for re-election. There will be no election and Carrefour will serve another term until the 10th General Assembly as no other nominations have been received.

- HSBC is retiring and available for re-election. There will be no election and HSBC will serve another term until the 10th General Assembly as no other nominations have been received.

Environmental and Conservation NGOs
- Conservation International (CI) is retiring and available for re-election.
- Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil Foundation (ISPO) and Borneo Rhino Alliance (BORA) have been nominated as candidates
- Elections among the Environmental and Conservation NGOs category will therefore be held. Only members in this membership category are eligible to vote.
